Priyanka Chopra recently shared a heartwarming and nostalgic moment on her Instagram, as she returned to London’s O2 Arena, where she was crowned Miss World 24 years ago. Formerly known as the Millennium Dome, the arena holds a special place in her heart. Reflecting on the experience from November 30, 2000, Chopra vividly remembered her 18-year-old self—excited, nervous, and competitive—competing in the pageant.
In her candid post, she shared a lighthearted story about the night of the crowning, recounting how she struggled with a Hemant Trivedi dress that kept slipping off due to her body tape not sticking as she sweated from nerves. She humorously revealed that when photos show her making a “namaste,” she was actually trying to keep her dress from falling off!
Now, two decades later, life has come full circle as she watched her husband, Nick Jonas, and his brothers perform at the very same arena, accompanied by her daughter, family, and friends. Filled with gratitude, Chopra expressed how blessed life has been, marking this moment as one of joy and reflection.
